Ski rental in Bad Gastein

Extras Prices

We are currently waiting on Extras pricing from our partners in resorts as soon as these are available, we will publish them.

We always endeavour to keep to our long-standing policy of offering you good discounts on public prices, which will also protect you against the risk of any significant variation in exchange rates.

We will bring your lift passes to you at the chalet-hotel if you book them in advance through us, and we will also help you to avoid queuing for any longer than necessary in the equipment rental shop on the day of your arrival in resort.

Important notes

  • Please note that Ski Miquel sells ski pack items as an agent/supplier and not as a principal.

  • Any lift passes or equipment rental purchased in advance are non-refundable once they have been ordered, so in the event of illness/injury or holiday cancellation you would need to make a claim to your insurers for any unused lift pass or equipment rental.

  • BAQUEIRA - Lift passes and equipment rental need to be booked at least 2 weeks before departure to benefit from our special rates.

  • ALL OTHER RESORTS - Lift passes and equipment rental need be booked at least a week before departure - Due to the requirements of our suppliers, it is no longer possible to book these items on the transfer coach.

  • Equipment storage close to the lifts is usually included free of charge with ski/snowboard rental in Bad Gastein, Lauterbrunnen and Montgenèvre. Equipment storage is also available close to the lifts in Baqueira, Saalbach and Serre Chevalier for a modest charge.

  • Any lift passes purchased through Ski Miquel will not automatically include any insurance and we would recommend that you arrange your own travel and medical insurance policy prior to departure, which should also include winter sports cover. If you have not already arranged a suitable policy then please see our Travel Insurance page.

  • If you require ski carriage for your flights then please contact us directly to add this onto your booking, as there is limited availability on some of our flights and so we need to be able to manage this.

Ski Carriage

If you wish to take your own skis or snowboard with you on our flights then you will need to pre-book ski carriage with us.

We will first need to check availability with the airlines, so you will need to contact us to add ski carriage onto your booking - Please do so as soon as possible to reduce the risk of the maximum quota being reached.

Return ski carriage cost for Winter 2024/25:  £50

Please note this is based on one set of skis or one snowboard per bag, and you will need to pay for ski carriage even if you are taking one bag with all your clothes and equipment in it.
